I went through the archives and pulled all of the quilts Kelli and I made in 2015. I thought we didn’t make a lot of quilts in 2015…but we did. Grab some coffee and read along. This is a long post…
In 2015 we did a blog hop showing off the quilts from our book Country Girl Modern.
This is School Bus. You can read more about it HERE. These quilts were technically made in 2014 but we never showed them off…just the backs so I’m including them in the 2015 quilts as that is when the book was published and was the first time we could show the quilts.
Here is Modalicious. It was made with all Moda fabric. You can read more about it HERE.
This is Puddle Duck. It is also in our book. You can read about it HERE.

The next quilt from our book is Pilot Knob. Kelli made this top. I finished it.
Almost Amish is also from our book. I made this top in one day. Read about it HERE. It’s a quick quilt.
Rainbow Connection was one of the first quilts we made when we put our book together. Kelli didn’t want to sew this one as she said it was just like putting borders on borders on borders. She’s right. It is, but I loved making it. Read more about it HERE.
I didn’t do a lot of sewing in early 2015. We moved in January and it took a long time for us to get everything set up. I also started childcare in February and was working full time. Out of desperation, I set up a sewing machine on the main floor.
I spent a lot of time paper piecing my Pineapple Crazy blocks.
As the year wore on I did get back my sewing room set up and going and ended up accomplishing quite a bit.
I made another of our Connect Four quilts. Read about it HERE.
I made a baby quilt with leftovers from a fabric line…
Read about it HERE. I want to make another of these.

The pattern came from this book From the Cover: 15 Memorable Projects for Quilt Lovers.
Here’s some good news…Amazon has used books that are selling for $5 plus the shipping. It’s a good book.
Kalissa and Craig’s quilt is this one that was on the back cover of the book. Kalissa picked the colors for this quilt.
We were a featured designer in a book, 75 Fun Fat Quarter Quilts. The book is still available through Amazon HERE. Here are four of six or seven quilts we designed and are in the book. Quilts from other designers are also in the book.

You can see the block above. I ended up designing a quilt with the block. This was the backing I pieced for it!
We have this block in the fall issure of Quiltmaker’s 100 blocks. I designed this to be used with shirts. I’d love to make a whole quilt with this block.
