Remember earlier this week I told you I was tackling the Connect Four quilt that was suppose to be done for a summer wedding….well I powered through loosing it, finding it and the dreaded machine quilting problem I told you about last night. Â (If you missed that, the story is here.)
Here it is FINISHED!!
The pattern is Connect Four and it’s from our book Country Girl Modern. Â I have made this quilt three times and still I am in love with it. Â It uses two charm packs and is such an easy, quick project to make. Â I am absolutely certain I’ll be making another one sometime. Â I think it’s become my “Oh crap I need something quick” quilt pattern.
I love any opportunity to machine quilt boxes. Â It’s one of my favorite designs. Â I can do it quicker than a basic stipple.
Here is the promised photo of the repair I have to do to add backing fabric while the quilt was on the frame.
All in all I am very happy with the quilt. Â None would know if I didn’t tell that it was a screw up…I guess all it well that ends well, right??
I am off to package this up. Â I am hoping it can go in the mail soon. Â I’m already four months late so it doesn’t really make a difference but I would like it done..and until it’s mailed, it’s not DONE!
I you are interested in the pattern it’s in our book Country Girl Modern. Â Here’s a link to our sales page where you can learn more about getting your own autographed copy.
Today we’re sharing our finished quilt at  Confessions of a Fabric Addict, Crazy Mom Quilts, and Link a Finish Friday.
