Thank you for carefully reading these instructions before bidding or commenting.
Before you bid:
- Please read through the following instructions
- Be aware of when the auction closes and be accessible by email
- Bookmark the auction post
Nested comments will help us keep organized. This means you have the ability to reply directly to a comment instead of your comment being listed in the order it was made.
Here is an example of a nested comment:
Carla replied to Elizabeth’s comment so her response was directly under Elizabeth’s instead of at the bottom of the comment list.
The auction post will go live. I will make a comment that says “BID HERE.” I will reply to that comment with an individual comment for the number, title, and starting bid of each item. After that comment has been made, you may reply to that comment with your opening bid. If you would like to raise a bid, reply to the current high bid’s comment and so on until the auction ends.
WordPress only allows comments to be nested 10 deep. If you would like to raise a bid but do not see a reply button, please reply to the comment with the number, title, and starting bid to start a new thread.
Only replies to that original comment can be counted as a bid. Please help each other out and remind people of this if you see them out of place.
Please keep the comment section neat by only replying to the BID HERE comments with actual bids and making conversation with new comments at the bottom of the page.
When bidding is closed I will change the settings on the post to no longer allow commenting and the final high bids will stand.
After you bid:
- Check back on the post to see which items you had the high bid on promptly after the auction closes
- Fill out this form
- Keep an eye out for an email with your payment instructions
- Pay promptly so I can ship promptly
Being able to run auctions through the blog helps more money go to the shipping fund instead of to commissions on Etsy, Ebay, etc. Thank you for reading these instructions and happy bidding!
