The Shirt Launch…finally!!

Kalissa’s new shirt designs are here! I can’t wait to share them with you!  I have been helping Kalissa a lot with this launch.  It’s been fun but a lot of work has gone into it.  The day to really tell you ALL about it is here!!

She went LIVE last night on Facebook and had so much fun chatting with you.  If you’re like me, I didn’t set an alarm so missed the first few minutes.  Lucky for us we can go back and listen to it. One viewer, Stephanie Marie, was lucky and won a shirt of her choice.

You can watch the replay of the LIVE video HERE.

If you want the inside scoop and see the new stationery designs she is working on, you’ll want to want.

your order! HERE is the link for that.

The first design we want to share with you is Fabric Fanatic. You’ll recall a while back Kalissa and I had a blog post asking for advice on the wording. A lot of shirts say things like “fabric addict” or “fabric-aholic” but Kalissa really didn’t love using those terms because of the negative connotations that come with addiction. Kalissa liked the F and F sounds together!

Izzy tried her best at modeling.

This shirt comes in two colors, one is heather clay and one is heather emerald green. The heather emerald green is a long sleeve tri-blend which means it has some nylon in the fabric as well to make the softest stretchiest shirt I’ve sold yet! The color in the pictures here are accurate, it can be hard to get a picture to look exactly like the shirt but this is it!

Anders also made his debut in the Etsy shop, I wanted to pose with him while modeling the new “Grateful to be Grandma” shirt!
This design was a lot of back and forth between Kalissa and I.  I didn’t think it would ever come about.  This comes in a highly requested VNECK and a beautiful autumn-colored sweatshirt (same brand as I always use) that is so cozy! I think these would be great for Thanksgiving!

Kalissa always lets me pick a couple of shirts and lets me have them.  Of course, I picked both of these.

The next shirt is for my quilters – Sew More, Worry Less is a sister shirt to the cross stitch shirt that says Stitch More, Worry Less which went over really well!

This is a “you requested it so she made it shirt”.

Kalissa really loves her new “minding my own small business shirt”. It’s a super simple design and she got to use a font she’s had but hadn’t found the perfect phrase to use it with! This is NOT a Bella + Canvas shirt as she normally uses but it does run true to size! It’s a comfort colors shirt that is a little heavier-weight fabric but feels like your old favorite tee on the first wear!
The last design is one you’ve seen before – She released the original design last November – Be Kind to Your Mind!

I wanted to reprint this design so I made a poll on my Instagram stories seeking some feedback to see what people liked or didn’t like – I came up with this!

The heather olive is so so pretty and we’re both really happy with how they turned out! I have both versions now as I loved the olive color.  A BIG shout out to our friend Andrea from Indigo Studio for creating the floral artwork!

We get lots of questions about sizing.  I believe they are true to size.  If I buy a shirt at Walmart, I would likely need an XL.  If I buy a more expensive brand I would likely need either a large or XL depending on how I like the fit.  In all of Kalissa’s merchandise, I wear a large.  I like my sweatshirts a little bit big because I often wear a t-shirt under them.  Even then I still only order a large for sweatshirts.  Please don’t size up with sweatshirts, they will be too big.

SO…did anyone guess my favorite shirt of the bunch??  It’s the Grateful to be Grandma.  I have both but love the sweatshirt the best.  The sweatshirt has a raglan sleeve and I love it!!  It seems a little more dressy.  I feel that way about the t-shirt too.  If there is something of a more dressed-up look when wearing a t-shirt or sweatshirt, this is it!

  1. Love the grateful shirts, full chest split design, colors & v-neck. Unfortunately I’m not a grandma. Also love small business shirt, but not small business owner. I’m looking at my holiday gift list to see if either will work for someone else. Please consider using grateful design in future with another more inclusive text. I’m sure the grandmas will love the shirt!

  2. Jo in the picture with the orange sweatshirt, what quilt is on the bed? I love the colours and design!! I love the orange sweatshirt but being in Canada customs causes too many issues.

    1. Hi Donna. That quilt is a Bonnie Hunter Mystery quilt…or at least started as that. I think I flipped some blocks. I know it’s not the original pattern. I don’t remember the name.

Hi Donna! That quilt you asked Jo about is Bonnie Hunter’s Celtic Solstice. It is available in her Quiltville shop under digital patterns. Have a great day!

  3. I love the quilt in the picture where you are sitting with Izzy on the porch. Could I please get some more information on the quilt? Thanks so much and congrats on your new dog.
