Note: This post was written last night.
Hubby and I like to get away once in awhile. We aren’t ones to go real far, no Mexican vacations or anything that involves an airplane. Just a little cruising around in a radius about 3 hours from home is perfect…as long as it involves little stops at antique places along the way.
This time out we headed to the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi river. There were antique shops….and quilt shops…fun little diners, oh and a hot tub too. It was a perfect two day getaway. What made it even more fun was coming home to this…a mail box full of goodies new star rulers along with bright fabrics from Elaine, Victoria and Amy! THANKS for responding to my plea for bright fabrics. These packages are SO appreciated and will go a long way in making my next crumb quilt.
We got some goodies I am dying to show you but right now…the only place I am going it bed. That is right after I transfer some money from my savings to my checking. Vacationing is truly exhausting on me and the savings account… (YAWN)
My husband and I always enjoy little weekend driving excursions too, they are always so much fun!
