My daughter Kelli was hoping to clean the kitchen but Georgie, her daughter, insisted on baking. So baking is what they did.
Kelli had found a recipe for Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread and had wanted to try it, so today was the day.
Georgia just loves cooking and baking.
What she loves more than eating the finished product is licking the scrapper.
Here is the recipe they used…
HERE is a video recipe…
Kelli has been trying to bake a little extra and share it with her in-laws. They are remodeling their house and are without a kitchen. I’ve been through that style of kitchen remodel and oh, it would have been so nice to have something brought to us.
Sadly, Kelli forgot to take a picture of the finished product. Bummer.
I’m actually off to try the recipe. My childcare kiddos and grandkids typically like treats like this…and what says fall better than pumpkin bread?
Sounds yummy! Your daughter is so cute! Nice you help the remodelers out! That’s always a long process! Enjoy your little ones!
I thought about pumpkin bread but no pumpkin on hand so made chocolate chip banana bread and chocolate zucchini bread instead. Some will be sold at our church bazaar tomorrow.
I don’t comment much but I look forward to your posts everyday!!
I have a pumpkin muffin recipe and throw some dark chocolate chips into them. Don’t blink cause you will miss getting one. So glad Kelli can make memories with Georgia and treat the in laws
Ooh this sounds a good one to try! Thanks for sharing the recipe, Jo and Kelli. I love Georgia’s expression in the first photo :-)
Looks delicious! Do you know if that recipe actually makes all four loaves?
Love and prayers
Sounds very good. Alway like seeing Kelli’s little helper – Georgia is such a cutie!
How fun having a budding baker in the kitchen with mom! Whenever I see pictures of Georgia, I think she looks a lot like you, Jo–but then so does Kelli!
