I missed last Sunday’s stash report…my big kids were home and I was tending the door at the firemen’s breakfast so it was a rare no blog post day. Â I’m making up for it this week. Â I have fabric that has moved in and out.
I acquired this little stack of 24 quart yard cuts of fabric…that’s 6 yards worth of fabric.
It amazes me that little quarter yard cuts can grow to equal SIX yards worth of fabric. Â These are all for my Smith Mountain Morning quilt I’ll be starting at the Bonnie Hunter retreat.
I have used up some fabric since I last reported. Â I used 12 yards on my Crumb Quilt. Â I used 1/2 yard on my quilt squares for the Quilt Square Quilt Along.
Here’s the numbers…
Used this Week: Â 12.5 Â yards
Used year to Date: Â 33 Â yards
Added this Week: Â Â 6 yards
Added Year to Date: Â Â 27.5 Â yards (12 from Moda)
Net Used for 2012:  5.5 Yards of store bought fabric…5 yards of recycled fabric…
For m0re stash reports, check out Patchwork Times. Â Make sure to take some time to check out this quilt book giveaway on my blog. Â Also, if you made a crumb quilt, with me, link up your post to this page. Â I’ll be picking winners soon.
What a pretty stack! Yes, it always amazes me how those little cuts add up so quickly..lol!
Love those blues & browns – Smith Mountain Morning is one of my favorites of Bonnie’s quilts! I’m jealous!!!
When and where are you doing a retreat with Bonnie Hunter? She is coming to our guild the end of this month and I am taking the Smith Mountain Morning class with her on March 31st and I’m preparing my fabrics for that. I am also taking Virginia Bound with her on April 1st. She has another class April 2nd, and our guild meeting, Mississippi Valley Quiters Guild on Tuesday, April 3rd she will be giving two different lectures, one in the afternoon and one in the evening, which I will be attending. I have been waiting forever for this. I can’t remember whether we booked her in 2009 or 2010, so it has been a long wait.
