Party Potatoes for a Family or a Crowd

Yesterday I promised to post my Party Potato recipe….so here it is.

PartyPotatoes
Place in a casserole…and mix.

2 lb hashbrowns
1 lb grated cheese
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1/2 c chopped onions
1 8oz caron of sour cream

In a separate bowl mix 2 c crumbled corn flakes and 1 stick melted butter.  Put on the top of the potatoes.
Bake at 375 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

I mix this up a day before I need it and put in the refrigerator.  The day I need it, I take it out and put it in the oven.  I have made these for a crowd.  To do that, take the recipe x7 and you will have a full roaster full.

If you are want to cut your expenses, you can easily use less cheese.

If you are catering for a crowd, the potatoes and the meatballs that I posted yesterday work wonderfully.  In just a couple hours of time and a few groceries, you can save a lot of money by not hiring a caterer.

Tomorrow I will post a recipe for a good salad to add to your meal that can easily be doubled or tripled to add to the meal for a crowd.
