Lori sent me a write-up and pictures of her latest quilt top finish.
Lori writes:
“I still have a few quilt tops that need to be quilted, I haven’t forgotten about them. Here is one that I have had for quite a while. This quilt top is made with beautiful browns and pinks.  This one is from Gloria.  Sorry, it has taken me so long Gloria.
This pink and brown quilt top was nearly square, so I added top and bottom borders to get a little more length. Â There was a piece of backing that was also included, but since I added borders, I needed to add a little bit more fabric to the backing.
The added fabric to the backing was something that I had in my stash and it coordinated nicely.
It is so fun to see these fabric combinations together. Â I love this peachy coral color together with the browns.”

Thank you Gloria and Jo for giving me this opportunity to donate.”
Wow. That sure was pretty.  Adding the top and bottom borders to make the quilt larger was a perfect idea!! Great job Gloria and Lori!!
I have seen this pattern several different times. In fact, I even made one myself long ago from shirts and gifted it to my nephew for his graduation. I made mine using the free Bonnie Hunter pattern.
Lori donates most of her quilt finishes to The Sharehouse which helps people who are working through addiction.
Hi Jo
What is the name of the quilt pattern? I would love to have a go at making it, such a lovely design, and a beautiful quilt. I’d love to see the one you made too, with the shirts. Really enjoy reading your blogs.
Kathy
Gloria has a good eye for color matching!!! What a gorgeous quilt. Lori did a good job of matching and quilting it too. Altogether a lovely lovely quilt.
Another beautiful quilt by Lori and Gloria!
Love and prayers
This is so pretty and I love the fabrics. I would also like the name of the pattern.

This is a very stunning quilt. I really like the pinks and browns together. Great work by both the sexist and finisher.
Beautiful quilt! I too, have made one of that pattern several years ago using aboriginal fabrics. One of my favorite finishes.
The pattern is Scrappy Mountain Majesties. It is a free pattern at quiltville.blogspot.com.
Bonnie Hunter’s free pattern for this block and layout is called Scrappy Mountain Majesties. Gloria and Lori did an awesome job to make this quilt possible and thanks to Jo for showcasing it today.
Oops! Sorry if this is a duplicate post! Bonnie Hunter’s pattern for this block and layout is called Scrappy Mountain Majesties. You will find it under her Free Patterns tab. Thanks again to Gloria and Lori for the work of putting it all together and to Jo for showcasing it today.
A gorgeous finish and the colors work so well together. The added borders make it a really nice size.
