What I’m Working On….

Last week was so busy.  I didn’t get much sewing done.  In fact, all I can really show is this little pile of Pineapple Crazy blocks….only 6 to add to my collection.  I have 67 now.

I would love to jump into sewing fast and furious this week but I have this pile of suitcases to deal with…

I also need to find a home for the antique ice chest we purchased.

It’s actually pretty but you can’t tell that from the picture.  It sat outside overnight and got full of corn dust.  The plan was for it to go in the sewing room but a lot of rearranging needs to happen in order for it to fit.

The suitcases are from teaching at an early childhood education conference in Minnesota over the weekend….A lot of sorting and reorganization has to happen.

While I am busy doing all that, head over to Patchwork Times and check out what everyone else is working on.

Just a reminder….
Here’s a giveaway for Moda’s new book “Sweet Celebrations”.
Here’s a giveaway for Natalie Bonner’s book, “A Beginner’s Guide to Free Motion”.

  1. Boy, you were busy! I love your pineapple squares. They take up so much time! I love you ice chest – looking forward to seeing what you do with it!

  2. Rachel,

The pineapple blocks are in Bonnie Hunter’s new book, String Fling. The quilt is called Pineapple Crazy and the blocks are only 5 inches square! I bought the book and am wondering how Jo made copies of the foundation. Is the pattern too close to the spine of the book to be able to flatten it on the Xerox bed for an accurate, undistorted scan? I haven’t been able to go to the copy shop yet to try it out.
