Hey all…remember I just put a free pattern up not long ago?? It was my Hip to be Square pattern…. Well look what Mary Harwood made…ALREADY!!
Mary was one of the lucky gals who attended camp at Country Threads so she got a sneak peek of the pattern a few days before my blog readers did..but still, that was quick!!
Here’s what Mary said about her quilt, “I added Rosie’s crumb square, and added stuff to it to make it fit. Upper right hand corner is the block we made last year at camp as an ironing exercise. It fit perfectly!”
It is a real fun quilt and I do love the blues and browns. If you are looking for the original pattern and original quilt, you can find that here. Thanks so much for sharing Mary!!
Just a reminder if you haven’t signed up. The “Fresh Perspectives” quilt book giveaway is going on here….the “Moda Sweet Celebration” book/fabric giveaway is going on here. Make sure to sign up for your chance to win.
Beautiful! I printed off the tutorial – now this just makes me want to drop everything else and start on Hip to Be Square!!
Wow, nice one. It looks very comfy and warm for the winter too!
Love Mary’s quilt, Jo! Can’t wait to start one myself but work awaits first. Our last camp of the season starts today and then we’ll just have one bus tour to come by next week. We’ll serve them supper in the barn for our last event and then close it for the season.
The book you reviewed interests me, too.
