For my May Schnibble of the Year, I am showing X-rated. I love how it turned out.
..I love that the sun was shining when I took the photos too….
I added a couple borders to the quilt to make it big enough for a girl baby quilt.
The fabric is Boutique by Chez Moi and it’s Moda. I initially won one of the charm packs that I need for the project for free but didn’t like the fabric the best. I decided to “use it up” in a Schnibble so I bought another charm pack of Boutique and now….I really like the fabric!
The backing is just a 100 percent cotton sheet that I found. I debated about using a sheet but the print matches PERFECTLY.
For the quilting design I just free motioned some big loopy flowers. All in all, I am very happy how this turned out. Initially the pattern wasn’t my favorite as there are no “blocks” to make just a whole bunch of pieces laid out. You can check out this previous post to learn more about it.
Well…the May Schnibble is finished, I wonder what June has in store.
As always, if you want to see other May Schnibble of the Year entries, check out tomorrow’s Schnibble parade hosted by A Quilting Lifeand Pink Pinchusion.
I’ve spotted a few X-rated’s out there in blogland. Yours is cute! It will be fun to see what all are in the parade of Schnibbles.
I love your month’s choice. Fabric & quilting are beautiful.Hugs from France
That is really nice and I love the sheet on the back!! Lucky girl who gets this one.
The quilt turned out great and I too love the backing! Nice job!

That’s a really cute pattern, Jo! Definitely one more suited to having a design wall. LOVE that you found a sheet that worked perfectly with the front of your quilt!! In my book, cotton fabric is quilt fabric. If it works with the quilt… USE it!
