What I’m working on….PACKING and prepping!

Guess what?  I’m traveling again…this time it’s to Cincinnati to the International Quilt Festival!!  How neat is that?

I never intended on going until a month or so ago when Mary from Country Threads emailed and asked me if I’d be interested in working at their booth there.   They have enough help to keep the shop up and going while they are at the show but they are always a little short handed at the show so they decided to ask me to go.  Well I said, YES!!  Here’s a picture of Mary, Connie and Mary B at the show last year….this year when the photo is taken, I’ll be in it!

We will be at booth #229 so come and see us!!

I hope to do a few blog posts from there so you can see what’s going on…but if I can’t figure that out never fear.  I have blog posts scheduled for the whole time I am gone. I just don’t have access to my email so I’ll be behind on that.

If you see me, PLEASE introduce yourself to me!!

So I am busy packing my suitcase and prepping projects to take along to work on.  I am a busy body and can’t imagine life without some take along projects.  A few minutes stitching in the hotel room is exactly what I need to wind down so I can sleep.

I just pulled out this embroidery pattern…

and this wool kit to prep to take with.  I’ve been wanting to work on this wool project so I am excited to have the chance to work on it.  I might squeeze in a punchneedle embroidery project instead….just because this kit has small pieces.  Oh decisions, decisions.

  1. Jo, My quilt group from Mt Washington,KY will be traveling up to the show on Friday. I am looking forward to coming by the booth and meeting you! Maybe some of your boundless energy will rub off on me,lol.

  2. Jo-have a blast with everyone from Country Threads! I can’t wait till Oct. when I get to go to Sunflower camp. Hopefully you’ll send some goods pictures of you and the girls via your blog. Have fun.

  3. Have a wonderful time Jo. It will be so fun to meet so many quilters. Of course standing inside an extension of Country Threads isn’t half bad either. Be safe. Sandi
