What Kelli is Reading: The Coworker

My daughter Kelli is at again. She just listened to the book The Coworker by Freida McFadden. This author is a big-time favorite of Kelli’s. Admittedly, I’ve only listened to one or two of her books. I really should listen to more especially after Kelli is always raving about them. You can find a complete list of her books HERE.

Kelli writes:
Good—-so very wonderful! Per usual, no disappointment here! Floored me again, but not for the original reasons I thought it would—always kept me on my toes!

Here’s what Amazon has to say:
Dawn Schiff is strange.

At least, everyone thinks so at Vixed, the nutritional supplement company where Dawn works as an accountant. She never says the right thing. She has no friends. And she is always at her desk at precisely 8:45 a.m.

So when Dawn doesn’t show up to the office one morning, her coworker Natalie Farrell―beautiful, popular, top sales rep five years running―is surprised. Then she receives an unsettling, anonymous phone call that changes everything…

It turns out Dawn wasn’t just an awkward outsider―she was being targeted by someone close. And now Natalie is irrevocably tied to Dawn as she finds herself caught in a twisted game of cat and mouse that leaves her wondering: who’s the real victim?

But one thing is incredibly clear: somebody hated Dawn Schiff. Enough to kill.”

Amazon readers give the book 4.2 stars. Kelli thought it was much better than that. She said she listened to it over a short period of time as she wanted to know whodunit.

If you are interested in the book, you can find it HERE.

  1. I am with Kelly – I have enjoyed every one of Freida’s books! I think I have been surprised during and at the end of each one I have read or listened to. Our library finally got a few of the audio versions and immediately there is a 6 month waiting list for every one!

  2. I had read the first two in Freida’s Housemaid series and was wondering about her other works. Good to know they are enjoyable as well! Thanks!
