Have you ever wondered what 1600 half square triangles would look like?? Well wonder no more.
This is so not typical me. I usually sew a few, iron a few, make a few blocks. This time around I stuck with it and sewed them all then ironed them all. It took about three hours just to iron them!! I thought I would never get done. I even did that all in one session.
Next up they all need to be sewn four in a row. When I did the cutting of the red for the units, I ran out of one shade of red and just picked a different shade. Then I ran out of that and picked another shade. I ended up using almost all of the solid red I had in the house.
I think the blocks for this quilt are going to turn out to be pretty fun. I can’t wait to get back to them.
