If I took a picture of everything I am working on, I don’t think all the pictures would load. Â It’s that time of year when I have projects going on that I am trying to finish up….no pressure of course. Â Plus there are projects for me that I want to make too. Â Here’s a little tour of my happenings.
Here’s my Orca Bay, Bonnie Hunter, Mystery Quilt progress. Â All the triangles are sewn together. Â Some are ironed some not…let’s be honest. Â Mostly NOT. Â Steps #1 and #2 are done though.
Here’s a sneak peak at my next Moda Bake Shop project. Â It’s ready to go into the quilt machine. Â I pieced that back together over the weekend. Â It’s actually loaded in the machine now….I just need time to quilt it!!
Kelli and I finally finished her Perkiomen Daydreams quilt over the weekend….now we are working on mine. Â Mine has seven rows together….
But there are more blocks in progress.
Here’s my Country Threads Civil War Reproduction quilt…all cut waiting for some sewing time.
Here’s a stack of sweaters that are going to be turned into mittens if time allows. Â Have you done that? Â (The pattern is here)….and some wool blazers that need to be cut apart and felted so they can be used in wool projects.
It seems everywhere I look and everywhere I turn, there’s something I started or something that needs attention. Â Does that sound familiar to anyone?!?! Â It’s just a crazy time and like a crazy fool, I get a whim and start something else…like this scrappy Bargello in Plaid from Scraps and Shirttails by Bonnie Hunnter. Â (Amazon has that book and Leaders and Enders
at the cheapest price I have ever seen them.)
It will be a busy week trying to get all of these projects a step or two further. Wish me luck!! I need it. To see what others are working on, check out Patchwork Times…to see how others are progressing on the Orca Bay Mystery Quilt, check out Quiltville’s Quips and Snips. Â OH…Don’t forget the Lapel Stick Giveaway…and the Head and Shoulders giveaway too. Â I told you I have too much going on…this too will pass. Â Oh…one more thing. Â Happy Birthday to the most splenderific guy…my son, Karl Kramer. Â Love you Karl!!
Such a familiar tale. So many projects, so few days before the end of the year! Good luck getting some of those projects moved along. Progress is progress, no matter how many projects it is spread among.
So many projects going at your home! I think I would just go crazy!! LOL Actually…I suppose the boredom of working on one and moving to the next gives you a break of sorts…and besides that look at all your accomplishing!!! Looks great!!!
Boy oh boy are you just a hive of activity! How do you find time for it all? Lovely fabrics all round!
Perkiomen Daydreams is stunning. All your projects look great.
Boy are you busy with a lot of different projects! Love the colors in your Moda Bake Shop project and have fun with the mystery quilt!
There’s a lot of Orca Bay on design wall posts this morning! Your CW repro quilt is going to be beautiful! :)
You sound just like me…everywhere I look are projects in various stages of needing me!
I always love your stuff. glen
Whew, you are really firing up this week. Well done for doing all of those HST’s.
Lots of projects — keep pluggin’ away. Thanks for the heads up on the discounted Bonnie books. I need to check which one I already have and buy one of the others. I’ve got a gift card! Thanks.
