I have lots of irons in the fire right now….
Here’s my Orca Bay progress.
After quilting and binding the two Perkiomen Daydreams quilts last week, I got a little behind on Orca Bay. Â Nothing serious. Â I have some more papers to rip off the back of the string blocks…I have to make more of this week’s triangles too. Â I will be caught up in a hurry though. Â Most of our Christmas celebrating is over so I see lots of sewing time just around the corner.
While I was working on the Perkiomen Daydreams quilts I was sewing strips together as leaders and enders. Â I took an hour or so last night to cut and sew those strips together to get the first segment of Bargello in Plaid done.
This is going to be quick and easy…I love it so far!!
I was busy trying to put together a few cheddar bow ties too…
My Back to Charm School book just came in the mail so I have to check it out….I had planned to take it to bed last night and read it but….Hubby bought me a Kindle Fire and I am testing that out.
See lots of irons in the fire and I love it. Â I got so many comments yesterday about our two Perkiomen Daydreams quilts….people wondering how long it took to sew them, etc. Â We started them in October. Â We have both sewn on lots of other projects during that time too. Â Between Kelli and I, I think we have sewn five other quilts since we started the Perkiomen Daydreams quilts. Â Many of you laughed as I showed some of the crazy days we were sewing on the quilts….we had lots of fun and have a few more crazy days of sewing to finish up the last two. Â Hopefully I won’t run over my finger with the quilting machine again.

I’m a bit behind as well. You have so much other stuff happening. Where do you find the time?
@ Sandra… the woman is a workin’ fool! She always apologizes when I visit because she doesn’t sit down and chat, she just has to keep moving!
Wow! You do have a lot going on but I’m sure you’ll get it all done! Looking good!

I wish I could get half as much done as you! My DH keeps coming up with things for me to do.
I’m very interested in your impressions of your Kindle Fire. I just ordered them for my two oldest granddaughters for Christmas.
