I spent part of the week working on the Double Wedding Ring quilt for Buck and Jen. So far I am happy with the progress.
All of the pieces for the quilt are cut out. Half of the melons are all sewn and half attached. I’ll iron them this week when on of the kids calls home to check on me. I have half of the other sides of the melon pieced together. Kelli was a real help. She finished cutting while I sewed. I keep plugging away and honestly, it’s not as hard as I anticipated.
Sad but true…my patching pile has GROWN. I hope to tackle that this week. Two pairs of pants, a pair of shorts and an infinity scarf.
I have a Quilt of Valor that I quilted for someone else. It is finished except for the binding…hopefully I’ll squeeze in some time to do that too.

Your project list looks something like mine. I admire your DWR start. I have wanted to do one but keep putting it off. Maybe someday. My 91 year old mother bought a kit last year and I figure I will get it, never taken out of the package, someday. ;-)
Are you using the accu cutter
I made a DWR for my daughter’s wedding quilt in 2006. It turned out lovely, but I don’t think I would do another one. Love the dark blue for the melons!
