Last week I put two quilts on the frame and quilted them….
This is Criss Cross Applesauce and Hip to be Square. I had intended on binding them yesterday but the machine quilting bug struck and I went with it and quilted three more quilts.
All three of these quilt tops were sent to me by a blog reader to be quilted and used as charity quilts. I finally am getting to quilting them. I am SO happy to have them quilted…now I have FIVE quilts that need to be bound.
I have a busy teaching schedule this week so I am not sure if I’ll get to very many of them….it’s been SO-SO long since I have touched a regular sewing machine.
Typically at this time of year we are mowing lawns, putting in crops and gardens so little sewing time is available-NOT this year. It has been cold and rainy. It might be until May until we get a chance to do that. As sad as that is, at least I’ll be able to get some more sewing time in before I am working outside.
