I’m on Easy Street…Well kind of.
Clue #4 is all done.
Did I tell you I started a second one too??
I just don’t know which one I like better. While I am waiting for clue #5 to come on Friday, I have a quilt to bind…some to be quilted and I just caved and did a few Geese on a String blocks that Bonnie Hunter is featuring on her blog. Here are 15…I am debating on what to use for the geese corners. Any suggestions??
To see what others are working on check out Patchwork Times….and to see other Easy Street progress check out Bonnie’s linky party…Oh, I have a giveaway going on too. You can find that here.
For the geese on the string- what about yellow?
I saw those geese on a string on bonnies page they look so great. I would go with black for yours or possibly red. bravo to you for doing 2 of the mystery quilts they both look great
Oh my goodness! I love both colourways!
Your Easy Street quilts intrigue me so much. I really look forward to seeing the final quilts.
I love your fabrics for both!!!
I think a nice chocolate brown would show off your geese beautifully, have fun!
All of the Bonnie projects are looking good! I need to make some of those big crummy geese!
I’m thinking of doing a second Easy Street too…maybe in Civil War repros? I love both of your projects, it will be fun to see them put ogether. Thanks for sharing!
ARGH!!! I’m binding a quilt, and need to get it finished and washed b4 Friday so that I can wrap it. up… I’m 1/2 way through. Easy street went on a side burner till I get this finished.
I love both of your Easy Street colors. Cant wait to see where this one goes;; they are always so great.
I vote for either reds or neutrals for the wings; & if you go for the neutrals, make the strips in between scrappy reds.
I like both of the color ways as well. There are going to be some really beautiful quilts out there when we finish this mystery! I saw at least 2 other people that were also doing Bonnie’s sting geese. Everything of her seems to be very addicting! I like the neutrals for their wings. Happy Sewing!
I really like them! You make me wish I could do two (or three) at a time, just to see them in different colorways.
