Over the weekend a final serge of power sewing took place and we put the last stitches in Kayla and Spencer’s wedding quilt.
Here it is all ready to be ironed. As I was snapping a couple pictures, Ruby came over and started sniffing the quilt.
I figured it’s time she learn to pose on a quilt. Let’s just say this was the best picture…I was rolling around laughing at her it was so funny trying to get her to pose.
Then I put the camera away, went to answer the phone. When I got back she was posed so sweetly that I snapped another picture. I took the camera and went to write a blog post with the pictures I had. Then I went back and started to iron the quilt. I ironed the first row of blocks. Then I went to move the quilt but it was stuck….there in the folds of the quilts was…RUBY! She was all snuggled in. I moved the quilt top around enough so I could take another picture of Ruby sleeping in Kayla’s wedding quilt top.
On my agenda this week is to get this quilted..that means I need a backing and some binding AND Miss Ruby needs to quit being so cute that she distracts me from what I should be doing.

It doesn’t get much better than a gorgeous scrap quilt and a precious puppy does it? I’m thinking you had better not hold your breath on Ruby not being cute – I think you’re doomed! :)
