What I’m Working On…

Yesterday afternoon I put the quilt top Kelli made for the Colorado Wild Fires on the quilt machine and quilted it…Today I am working on the binding.

Every day I have been trying to sneak a little time in for my UFO Nine in the Middle.

I have been making good progress even though it seems I haven’t sat down and sewed on it for a long period, just fifteen minutes here and there.  All the blocks are done.  I’ve started sewing the sashing and blocks together.  So far I have two strips together.  I have all the border pieces together am gradually getting them sewn together too.

I follow along with Patchwork Times UFO Challenge.  I pulled this month’s UFO, it’s an easy one for me.  The top is already together….all I need to do is quilt and bind it.  I’m hoping I can get TWO  UFO’s done this month.  We have a couple days away planned so we’ll see how it all goes.

To see what others are working on, check out Patchwork Times….today’s the last day to sign up to win a Tre-Recs ruler here or the sewing book “Make it Sew Modern” here.  I’ll announce the winner of the Quilt Square Quilt Along later today.
Today I am hooking up with Quilts are for Giving.

  1. yea for getting to the binding! It’s looking lovely and I’m sure someone is going to really appreciate that beautiful quilt. Your ufo is looking great too – what a neat pattern.

  2. I’m planning on the Scrappy Trips Around The World. If quilting can get done swift enough it will go to Colorado too. Your Nine in the Middle is full of nice reproduction fabrics. Love the look of it so far. So nice to be ahead of the UFO schedule! Gives a bit of extra time to get all the other projects…those not selected as UFOs…moving further along. I’ll be back later to see who the winner is for the Quilt Square Quilt Along drawing is…I’ve got all my fingers and toes crossed! Sandi

  3. I’m so glad you hooked up with Quilting For Good Tuesday, Jo!! Your quilt for Operation Wood Hollow is coming along wonderfully and looks like it will be beautiful when finished!!
