What I’m Working On….

I pulled out my Bargello in Plaid.  It’s a graduation present and I need to have it finished in THREE weeks.  Thankfully I have 1 of the 6 panels already finished.

I have the strips sewn together for four of the other panels so I am actually in okay shape…I need to keep clipping along but okay shape.   I had to stop today because I had to cut a few more strips and I had to get the next Quilt Square Quilt Along block done.   If you can get your block sent to me today, that would be great.  As always, send them to me at rogjok@iowatelecom.net…the reveal will be on Tuesday!

  1. I can’t wait to see the blocks. I’m sad that I didn’t get to make one this month. I had pretty much no sewing time this month. I managed to make one snowball block and a hat for colonial days at school. That was it. Hopefully, next month will be better.

  2. Isn’t it crazy how graduation just sneaks up on you? I thought I had another week, but ours is on May 12, which is just two weeks away, not three like I thought! I will have to keep this pattern in mind for next year’s presents. . .

  3. It’s going to look great. You were lucky to find that orange. All that de-bonning of shirts paid off. I’m sure the graduate will be thrilled with your thoughtfulness. Sandi

  4. Ok JO I have to say that bargello isn’t my favorite, neither is plaids. But together, this is REALLY GREAT!! Such a nice job on the piecing and in three weeks you will be delivering a gift to a very happy graduate. Love it.
