On Saturday I took the day off. I was done making masks for the week. I know mask making is important. I’m happy to do it but my sanity is worth something too. If you have been making masks non stop for two weeks I’m sure you can relate. I haven’t even been cross stitching at night. Rosie misses cuddle time and Saturday, I gave myself some time to catch up and time to cuddle on the couch with Rosie. It was so needed.
I designated Saturday as my day to catch up on all the quilt alongs. It was time. I also gave myself some Rosie time. Here’s what I acccomplished.
I did finish my low volume Brick House baby quilt about two weeks ago and finally got a blog post written about it. You can read about it HERE.
I just love this picture of Rosie. It’s my favorite of all time.
I’m back to sewing masks for a couple more days…but I’m going to try to make them a little bit shorter days.
It’s good that you took time to recharge, Jo. It’s SEW important!!
I’m glad you took a break. You deserve it. I like that picture of Rosie, but I think my favorite so far is her sitting in the box of strings. Thanks for sharing.
I made 25 and said I’m done. When friends of My DD (recipient of a mask) wanted to buy them from me, I made DD some samples, of the steps to create them, with instructions and cut out about 30 or so pieces of fabric. She picked up the sewing machine and instructions last night. I needed to get back to my regular scheduled quilting
That IS the best picture of Miss Rosie! The pastels are so pretty and she is just too cute! I am about masked out as well….
Love your brick house and the quilting is amazing, Jo. Thanks for sharing.
