I’ve been pretty scattered about what I’ve been working on.
I’ve working on my rug when watching television…I’ve done paper piecing while waiting for doctors. I ripped off all the papers on the Pineapple Crazy blocks and on the Wonky Wishes sashing pieces.
I also ended up starting to sew the Star Struck blocks. I really didn’t plan on sewing them….
well at least not yet.
I started this because my 2 1/2″ strip bucket was over flowing….WAY over flowing. Before I knew it all of the segments were cut and sewn….and then the corner pieces were cut too. I thought I would I set it aside.
Then I was trying to come up with something that I could work on during nap time and thought I might as well keep going with this Star Struck quilt….so in my early morning sewing sessions I started sewing.
This week during nap time I’ll cut the corners off and iron them over.
I’m not sure where the project will go next. For now, I’ll be working it on during nap time until I can’t anymore. That’s how I roll. Project are picked and sewn according to where I am going to be and what I have time for. I like working that way. For many people it would be frustrating to have so many project going but for me….it fits my life.
Today we’re hooking up with Patchwork Times.
Love the colours, so soft looking but also warm. Can’t wait to see it finished eventually.
Is this pattern from one of Bonnie Hunter’s books?
That is how I roll, too. . .but I have some UFOs to tackle. Meliza challenged me to get all the UFOs done before Bonnie’s next book release in the fall. THAT can’t happen as their are WAY TOO MANY, but I can make progress/finishes a priority. My 6 days a week work schedule is now over for another year, I can now sew a bit more on weekends.
Looks like you are getting lots done during nap time.
