This week I’ve kind of been in a little lull. Â I was frantically working on my mystery quilt but that push is over. Â I am in that-I’m about finished with a a couple projects but getting ready to start something else land.
I put my border on the mystery quilt and am waiting to the backing fabric I ordered to arrive.
I put my little narrow border on my 4 Patch X quilt, seamed up the backing and loaded it on the frame.
I also pulled out a UFO of my own design that I’m decided to start working on…This will likely be published someday so I can’t show a lot about it.
I’m still working on my rug too. Â I’m not setting the world on fire with any of the projects…just slowly moving along on all of them.
I have about three projects all going on this little table next to my sewing machine. Â I’m never content to work on just one thing.
My main goal is to get 4 Patch X off the frame. Â There are LOTS of other quilts here waiting for their turn to get on the frame.
…and that’s the progress from the quilting room.
Today I am hooking up with Patchwork Times.
Looking at your ‘window frame” rug makes me want to start one on my frame. It is a wonderful way to use up fabrics you don’t really like any more.
What is the metal rod on each side of your rug frame? I know it is used to keep the rug square, but what would I buy to use for that rod if I had hubby make a frame for me? Thanks for your help.
My husband just bought rod at Menards or Home Depot. I don’t remember what it was called but they have it. I am sure Mary references it in the instructions book where the frame making directions are found.
