On Friday we got in our shipment of our new collaboration book 75 Fun Fat Quarter Quilts. Â We have seen the book via Kindle but haven’t seen it in hard copy. Â Ah…we really, really like it.
There are seven quilts designed by us included. Â Most are lap sized. Â We’ve had people request lap sized and we listened.
Our weekend job was to get all of the books packaged and processed for sending. Â Here’s box #1 ready to go. Â Kelli’s working on the next box.
Our sale on our books  and our calendar continues.  You can learn more about that here. Our American Patchwork and Quilting calendars (including directions for the featured quilts) are at a clearance price of only $15 each (Normally $24.95).
In the excitement and busyness I still managed to get my mystery things accomplished.  As I got each set accomplished I laid them out on the quilting frame.  Isn’t the quilt on the frame AWESOME.  Kelli made it.  It’s Bonnie Hunter’s Scrappy Mountain Majesties in a diagonal setting done in Civil Wars and using a smaller scale.  I’m hoping to have it ready to share soon.
I got the extra pieces cut out and ready to go too.
So far the mystery is really going well. Â Clue one and clue two are finished. Â Can’t wait for the next clue. Â I love having me time set aside during December and the mystery is me time.
Check out what others are doing at Quiltville and at Patchwork Times.
Please include a link to the link up in your post above :) http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2015/12/allietare-mystery-monday-link-up-part-2.html I’m having a very hard time with people not including the link to the proper pages :)
Love how you showcased your #2 units on your rail! Very nice. Beautiful SMM too.
LOVE the Scrappy Mountains!!! It just got put up on the TOP of my TO DO LIST!! Your new book looks amazing…and every quilter has FQs so it’s a win-win!
That a great way of putting it… it’s ME time! That’s exactly how I feel about sewing time on the mystery in December when there are so many other things needing to be done
Very nice units for Clue #2, love the reds. Mountain Majesties looks very nice.
I, too, love the me time. I feel like a kid at Christmas looking forward to the next clue.
Looking good!
We all need the “me” time.
How exciting to see your patterns on the pages of a real book! I love digital books for reading but my quilting books need to be printed. I like the scale of Kelli’s Scrappy Mountains Majesties. Is she willing to share how she resized the blocks?
