I have lots of irons in the fire but that really isn’t anything new. Â I think I’ve just learned to operate that way.
Grand Illusion is coming to a close. Â I just have a short time left on that quilt. Â Check back on Wednesday to see how far I get with it.
I have been sewing on a few things…. Â Half square triangles have been my main focus for over a week. Â When I design a quilt with so many I typically hand the quilt off to Kelli but this time I didn’t. Â The quilt has (at last count) over 1500 half square triangles. Â Most that I’ve used have been bonus triangles but all have needed to be pressed. Â I’m seeing them in my sleep…but I love how the project is looking so far.
While I was working on the above project and on Grand Illusion I’ve managed to collect these two little piles of four patches. Â At this point I am not sure what they will be used for. Â I’m sure something will take shape with them at some point. Â These are overflow from when I cut WAY-Way-Way too many two-ies.
I’m off to contemplate my next UFO. Â I am so ready to tackle another one…and I hope to get that half square triangle quilt of mine much further down the road.
Today we are hooking up with Patchwork Times.
I have recently retired from Early Childhood Education, I am beginning to expand my skills in sewing, crocheting and quilting. I observed your posts today and I was encouraged with your blog. Just saying hi and hope to learn so much more. Thanks for sharing.
