I am still plugging away on my Garden Party blocks.
You might remember that I wanted the quilt bigger. I also decided that I don’t think I want a border on it either. That means…more blocks.
Aren’t they just precious? I know I love them. This week I got 35 more cut out and finished.
Here is a link to the pattern if you are curious. (Photo courtesy of Quiltmaker)
Kelli was home and did some figuring. To make the quilt bigger and to make it without borders, she calculated that I need 144 Hot Cross Buns blocks and 121 chain blocks. I currently have 116 Hot Cross Buns and 109 chain blocks. Looks like I have to keep sewing….that’s okay though I am enjoying it. How can I not enjoy it when the block are so cute?!
Besides working on these I finished quilting another charity quilt top. I am hoping to get that bound and ready to show to you later this week.
Stop back later today…we have a challenge that I think you’ll enjoy.

What a wonderful selection of scraps. The quilt will be amazing and well worth the effort.
Aren’t those blocks fun? I had to force myself to stop making them… 8)
This is one I have to add to the ‘to do’ list – it looks fantastic!
Those blocks are really cute! Love the setting for them.
