No real sewing has happened here…but some sewing has. Â It all happened in time that I stole away. Â 10 minutes here and there yielded more blocks for the Grand Illusion Mystery.
Seven blocks last week and nine blocks this week means 16 blocks total…only 4 left to go! Â This is an extremely slow pace for me but I am so thankful that I am even getting that much time.
I’ve been so busy that I haven’t taken any time to see all the variations that people are coming up with. Â Kelli has told me that there are variations of all kinds….so what am I going to do, stick with the original design or branch out? Â I think I am staying with the original design for two reasons….
1-I’m too lazy right now. Â I just need time at a machine not time reinventing the wheel.
2-Most of my fabric is packed up and I don’t have access to it. Â Besides, I think my colors will look pretty good as is.
That’s what I’m working on in the sewing room….On the house front it’s all floors and floors and floors. Â Stop back later today and I’ll give you a full report on what’s happening on the flooring front at the new house.
Today I am hooking up with Patchwork Times.
I love your blocks for this mystery!
There are a lot of variations. 10 minutes here and there does add up over time, though it doesn’t seem like it :)
Loving the blocks so far!
I’m even slower! Mine haven’t gotten that far. And it’s not like you are sitting on the couch eatting Bon-Bons!
