I’m still working on my Labor Day Madness, UFO #4, quilt. Â I got the blocks sewn into rows….
The quilt is from Pat Speth’s book, Nickel Quilts.  I have it in an 8 x 9 setting which, after the borders are added, is going to make a HUGE 98.5″ x 106.5″ quilt.  I still have 12 blocks left over….They might have to end up in the back of the quilt or maybe  they’ll be made into something else.  Right now, I just want the top to get sewn together.  I’ll worry about the back on another day.
I am loving these blocks. Â I am sorry that they got set aside and in a UFO pile….they definitely didn’t deserve to end up there…
To see what others are working on, head on over to Patchwork Times.
These are fabulous blocks…they do deserve to be a quilt!
Oh My, it is Fabulous!
Love these fabrics and blocks! Can’t wait to see the finished quilt.
Gorgeous! A quilt that’s a little too big is better than one that’s a little too small!
I love the blocks! Very pretty. I look forward to seeing it finished.
I love the movement of these stars! You could save the leftover blocks for an orphan quilt…
Really great looking–scrappy fabulous for sure. That is a big quilt! I’m behind on my UFO project and gotta get pedal to the metal to make it. Fortunately my project is much smaller at 60″ square :)
I LOVE your quilt. The scrappy look sets it off. This is definetly one I want to make. As always, quiltalicous.
That’s beautiful! Are the blocks hard to make?
What a lot of beautiful stars! Glad to see you are going to finish it soon.
Wonderful blocks! I’ll bet you can’t wait to get it finished.
Looking good. I like that star.
