I have three projects going on at once right now-not to mention quilts that need quilting too.
I am working on my Bonnie UFO Challenge quilt, Celtic Solstice…(If you missed the challenge, read about it here)
It doesn’t look like much progress but there is. The units are now sewn into rows…next up sew them into blocks. For awhile I didn’t think I’d be able to get this finished for the challenge and was just hoping to get the project further along. Now that I’m working on it little by little I’m starting to think I just might get it finished yet. That would make me happy!
Kelli and I have another project we’re working on. She’s pretty booked so this one has fallen to me…well kind of. She cut it out and I think, I’ll be sewing it. I can’t wait to see this one finished. We’ve had the pattern drawn out for a long time and have been busy looking for the perfect fabric for it. I think we found it with Moda’s Horizons.
Look how neat and tidy everything is when Kelli cuts it out. Me, I’m MUCH more messy. I’m sure this neatness won’t last for long!!
I also have this project at the machine.
This is Moda’s Rambling Rose fabric line. We just love it.
I haven’t had much machine time lately. We were so busy last week….that of course puts me behind this week. I think I am going to chain myself to the sewing machine with hopes of getting at least one of these projects finished.
My days are numbered for my chance to get to Country Threads. Friday is their last day before they close for good. I talked to Kelli and she wants to go too…I am hoping for Wednesday or Thursday. That means I need to get some things done at the beginning of the week.
That’s what’s happening here on the quilting front. To see what others are working on, check out Patchwork Times.
I’m working on my Celtics Solstice too! We can get these DONE before the new mystery! Your units look great so far!
Horizon is my favorite of Moda’s new lines and I can’t wait to work with it. Love all those triangles. Looking forward to seeing what y’all make of it.
