Well my Lozenges quilt top is all together and I have a back together too!!
I’m not showing you more than that for now. Once I have it quilted, I’ll share more. I really like it!! Notice there are two other quilts hanging there waiting for their turn at the quilt machine too. It never ends…but thankfully I now like the quilting process so this actually makes me happy.
With that leader and ender done I was trying to decided what to work on next. I ended up pulling my spool block quilt out and started putting the top together. I’m not very far.
Already, I am liking this too!! Only problem, this really doesn’t make a good leader and ender. I did sort through and pull out a bunch of 2″ strips to start making the outside four patches. I’m using the strips to make them as my leader and ender for now. They don’t make the best leader and ender but once the strips are sewn, making the four patches will be a good leader and ender for me….slow and steady.
I sometimes with I didn’t have so many deadline projects and that all my time could be spent on getting this top together. I might have to go back to my reward program with one…if I get all things checked off my to-do list, I can add a row each night. It’s silly but it works for me.
I’m off to load a charity quilt onto the frame….I haven’t done one for a bit and it’s time…
