I’m not getting as much done as I would like…but do we ever?
I have these charity quilts waiting for bindings….There are two there.
When Kelli was home this weekend she brought two quilt tops that need quilting.  These are both for future projects.  I was about in shock when I saw them…Kelli put on her own borders  AND she prepped the binding strips.  This I don’t think has ever happened!  Does this mean my little girl is growing up??  I am hoping I can get the backings prepped today and that will get them one more step closer to quilted.
My triangle quilt is coming along nicely. Â I laid it all out and showed it to Kelli–I’ll just say she really really liked it. Â I do too. Â I thought I was going to have it finished but then I decided to add a couple more rows making it 80″ x 88″. Â Part of me wants to make it just a little more bigger….we’ll see.

i too hate to get the binding ready.
Such a small part to do put I always put it off.
I have several quilts that I thought I should make a little bigger as I was working on them, but was tired of working on them and just wanted to be done. I finished them at that point. I wish I would have made them bigger now that they are done and it is too late.
Binding is not my favorite part of quilting either.
I am just amazed how much you accomplish in a week!!! I must say that you’re a great encouragement for me to get busy! And I’m so sorry that the rain has stalled your remodeling plans. Remember 2 summers ago, when we were so dry and hot? Go figure!
