I haven’t done a lot of sewing lately. Â I’ve been machine quilting instead. Â When I have my daughter Kelli sewing it’s hard to keep up with her. Â Last week she finished two quilt tops and got pretty far along on a third top. Â Being I am the machine quilter of this duo that means I have quilt tops that need attention. Â It’s a tough job keeping up with Kelli. Â That girl can sew!!
Here is a partial look at the quilts that are waiting for me. Â I don’t take them upstairs to the quilting room until I have backs and bindings ready for the quilts. Â These are ready to go upstairs and join the other 5 or so that are up there.
There is an assortment of ones that need to be done for production deadlines and some that will be on the blog as free patterns, some charity quilts and some just for fun. Â Right now Kelli and I are focusing on adding some patterns to our free pattern collection. Â We have three quilts that will be free that all use jelly rolls. Â Keep an eye open, the free quilt patterns will slowly be coming your way as we complete them.
Speaking of free patterns…here’s one we’re working on.
Kelli helped me move this project to the front burner….this one is quick and easy and we can’t wait to show it off.
It’s funny-when I bought my APQS machine quilter people questioned whether I needed it or not. Â Well it’s seems I do. Â There is always a line up of quilts that need attention.

How wonderful that, with all you two have going on, you both are so eager and willing to share free patterns with your devoted followers out here in Blogland! I definitely look forward to seeing what quilty goodness you two have created for us and appreciate the time, talent, and energy that it takes for you to make it all happen.
Thank you.
It’s amazing how much you and Kelli are able to accomplish! Thanks for your generosity in sharing free patterns, especially with everything else you have going on.
Whoop! Whoop! Free and easy patterns. . . .means they might not be UFOs for very long! :) School starts this week, I will have to be disciplined and carve out a bit of sewing time on a regular basis!
I’m so thrilled. I have a stack of jelly rolls that need to be stitched up. I’m eagerly waiting the patterns. You guys are so great!
I wish I had one of my Girls doing the quilting! i’d like to be doing more piecing. Why didn’t I insist they learned how? LOL like they would still!
You have your hands full looks like, that will keep your mind of the house until things really get going.
