I know many of you have thought our schedule around here has been crazy but honestly, we’ve been keeping LOTS of our sewing under wraps. Â Since about mid January Kelli and I have been crazily sewing in between all of our things going on. Â Our goal, and we’ve been able to keep it, is to sew one quilt top a week.
In order to keep with our deadlines, that’s what we’ve had to do. Â See all the quilts hanging with backs and bindings prepped ready to go to the quilt machine???
Besides those in the picture, I also finished Kelli’s wedding quilt and we got one together and sent out that will be featured in Quiltmaker magazine in the upcoming months. Â BUSY is right!! Â This week I am hoping to get another quilt top finished to add to the ones already hanging and waiting for me to quilt.
In between all of that I’ve managed to get 8 more lozenges blocks sewn. Â Not many, but I know this is going to be a long project.
Our son Karl is home for the beginning of the week off from college spring break. Â He’s helping me finish up getting the remaining wedding stuff set away. Â I still have a few bowls and serving things that need to get back to their home. Â I’ve heard rumors to expect family company coming on Wednesday…oh and did I mention that we might be fostering two six week old puppies.
I swear it’s always crazy here but I love it!!

Wow, With all the wedding planning and the new house, you have been really busy.
I can’t wait to see the finished quilts, but I spy a yellow and gray one in the batch that I’m really eager to see.
I have been wanting to make a yellow/gray quilt for a while now.
