What I’m Working On…

Well..there is another disaster again, the Midwest tornadoes.  So that finds me back at the quilting machine trying to quickly get some charity machine quilting done.

I have a couple more quilts from Pam that I am hoping to get done.  I managed to get this one on the frame.  It’s a really pretty batik quilt that I am sure will be appreciated.

The machine was acting up a little with some thread breakage but I got that figured out and and I’m back in business.  That was a little frustrating as I was hoping to get two finished on Sunday but that didn’t quite happen.

I would love to send out a lot but with the kids coming home and Thanksgiving this week, I don’t know how many I’ll get done.  I am scrambling though…trying to do what I can.

Kelli brought me a few of her quilts that I’d love to get done too….oh, so many quilts…so little time.

To see what others are working on, check out Patchwork Times.

  1. thanks again, Jo!
the quilting is lovely as always. the fabric is from a batik grouping by Mckenna Ryan that i bought in a kit at the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival in Virginia a few years ago. i know that she has a wide following in the quilting world, so someone out there will probably be tickled pink to get this quilt. Thanks a bunch for making it happen.

  2. Beautiful. I live 40 minutes from Washington, IL which took the hardest hit with an EF4 tornado. My daughter and family live in the town but were lucky and had no damage while many of their friends lost everything. The town has pulled together and with all the help will get thru. A big thanks to you and to all who are helping! It is much appreciated.
