I had a quilt on the frame this week….actually three quilts but I forgot to take pictures of them.
This one is soon to be a Moda Bake Shop project. We have quilts to bind and we have quilts that need sewing. Kelli was home this weekend and left blocks for me to get together and sewn into a quilt top.
She took fabric for another quilt and she took a project that I had been working on. It was a big sewing swap. We are hoping once we get together next weekend we’ll each have a finished quilt top….at least we can hope!! I’m am also hoping that I can actually have a some backings pieced and binding strips ready to go too…oh, and the three quilts I machine quilted bound. This week HAS to be a big sewing push for the both of us if we are too meet the deadlines that we have in place.
It’s exciting and fun and we love the ride our quilting venture seems to take us on. We’re both just thankful that we are doing it together.
Come back later today and I’ll show you what we accomplished on the house when we were working on it this weekend.

YOur borders all look so wonderful. Could you tell me what size strip you cut for your borders and what technic you use for the corners? I am just struggling so with this aspect of quilting..even tho I have done so many! I just want that corner perfection that you have! THanks!
