I have been happily sewing away on my Roll, Roll Cotton Ball quilt, getting the borders sewn together over the weekend. I have been finishing projects right and left this month. I finished a new project for Moda Bakeshop. In fact, I finished THREE UFOs this month, June Mystery, Moda Bakeshop quilt Swanky Picnic and a Christmas Quilt. I also finished my Crab Apple Quilt and a Christmas Tree Skirt all this month BUT, I forgot about all about my UFO project for Patchwork Times UFO Challenge.
Remember project #6:
My project #6 is Bits and Pieces quilt On Point. I only had about 6 blocks done.
Over the weekend I cut out the remaining blocks, sewed a little and now I only have the big center block and the setting triangles to finish before I can start putting it together. It’s not a lot of progress and I am going to have to hurry along to get it finished this month. but…Ya-hoo….any progress on a UFO that you are no longer excited about is progress. Hopefully by next week I can show more progress. My goal is to have the top finished by the end of the month…wish me luck!
To check out more design walls head over to Patchwork Times.
wishing you lots of sewing time to get this top done!!
you have been busy
You are a machine Jo!! It feels great to get some finishes!!
I do believe when you set your mind to a finish you do it!
I love how that quilt is coming out and I about did a jaw drop when I saw where the pattern was from. I haven’t been to Bits and Pieces in forever, but they’re where I first learned how to quilt. Because they’re a distance away, I forgot all about them, but I do love that pattern so maybe I should make a roadtrip just for old times sake.
You have been busy lately :)
Oh really nice colours, very Little House on the Prairie!
Sorry about the spelling…but here in New Zealand we spell colour this way…it always comes up as a spelling mistake. Mum is another,in the US it is MOM.
That is a very pretty UFO! I think you have been getting tons done with all of those finished. Nice tree skirt. I need to make one for me. And my Daughter. And probably my mom, hey, that’s why I don’t have one done!!
That’s going to be a gorgeous quilt!
Gorgeous!! I love the pattern and the fabrics.
Oh I have faith in you, you will get it done!!
That is so true! Any progress on an old UFO is welcome! Great job!
Wow! Busy, busy! I have been busy but not accomplishing much. I have mostly flittered as my Granny would say. I am suppose to be working on my Crab apple quilt too, but have misplaced my book so I am working on another UFO while searching. I need that crazy pattern for the trunk and bottom of the tree to finish my blocks. I hate when I do that. Have a great week! :)
