What I’m Reading: Three Weeks to Say Good-bye

I just finished the audio book Three Weeks to Say Goodbye by C. J. Box.

Here is a link to the Kindle version Three Weeks to Say Goodbye and here is the hard copy version  Three Weeks to Say Goodbye.  I like throwing a mystery/suspense book onto my reading list every so often and this one was it.  On the front it says thriller…I wouldn’t classify it as that.  I could guess the ending once I was about half way through the book but that didn’t stop me from continuing to listen.

The story takes place as a family with a nine month old adopted baby gets word that the adoption won’t be finalized as the birth father never signed off on the adoption.  The baby is going to be given to the birth father and the family has three weeks to say good-bye.   The birth father is the son of prominent judge.

I think the amount of shooting towards the end was over the top and a bit unbelievable but all in all, it was a good book.  I wouldn’t be afraid to read another book by this author.

  1. C.J. Box is a popular author in my library. The thriller/mystery/suspense type books go over well here. Those and romance though a few patrons are die-hard non-fictions readers.
