What I’m Reading: That Night

I just finished up the audio book, That Night: A Novel by Chevy Stevens.  This was a new author to me and I just grabbed the audio book real quick one day as knew I’d be out the door soon and wanted to have time to download it while I was still close to WiFi.  I didn’t read the description.  I just knew it was a mystery.

I was very pleasantly surprised.  The book was very good.  It’s told in first person and I always love that.  It’s my favorite format.

I have to say I also am in love with this narrator.  When listening to an audio book a great reader really has the power to take a good book and make it better.  The narrator is Jorjeana Marie.  I liked her so much that I went on Audible to see if she had narrated others and happily she has…one by the same author so I think I am going to use up an Audible credit and purchase it.

The narrator really brings the book to life and makes it seem like it truly could have happened.

Amazon readers give the book 4.2 stars.  I’d likely agree.  I am going to check out the author’s other books.  Now the narrator performance…I’d give that a five!!
