I am not someone who typically pre-orders anything….but I did this time. I pre-ordered the newest Linda Castillo book, Shamed. This book is the 11th book of the Kate Burkholder series…and I’ve read every single one and enjoyed them all. I knew I was going to read this one…and I knew I wasn’t interested in waiting for 6 months until it came available on the online library..if they even got it. So…I did what I rarely ever do and pre-ordered it.

Amazon readers give the book 4.6 stars. I’m going to agree. I don’t know if it’s because I love the series or if simply loved the book. Either way, I’m so glad that I got to listen. From the time I got it to the time I finished it less than 24 hours had passed….I had a blissful listen and I got a lot of cleaning done too. It was PERFECT!!

This series is a big favorite of mine ! I always get on the list at my local library as soon as I learn there is a new one. It surprises me that as long as this series has been going on Linda Castillo continues to write fresh material and keep this series interesting.

She’s a favorite author of mine too. I troll the lists and request at the library as soon as I know the book is out. Coming soon for me too. I wish the favorite authors would write faster.
