I was on Hoopla and saw a book that looked interesting, Shadow of His Hand by Wendy Lawton.
I was looking on my phone. I didn’t see the small print. So I didn’t see that this was a “Daughters of the Faith Series”.
I’m not against Christian fiction but I don’t like to feel like I’m being given a sermon. I like a wholesome base but not time and time of scripture reference.
I also didn’t realize this was juvenile fiction. I used to read a lot of juvenile fiction but have since moved away from it.

Amazon readers give it 4.6 stars. I’m totally not there. This was a little too much scripture for me. Not terrible but I wouldn’t recommend the book for adults.
I heard her speak in person once, it was phenomenal!! What she went through was so awful. Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy the book. I have not read it, but she was sure enjoyable.
