What I’m Reading: My Sister’s Grave

A couple weeks ago I was getting a book on Audible and saw that they offer a daily deal.  Well the book was My Sister’s Grave (The Tracy Crosswhite Series) by Robert Dugoni.  Well I’m not one to pay for audio books unless I really have to but this one was only $1.95 with the daily deal.  I caved and bought it.

I kind of expected it to be a dud because it was so cheap.  WRONG!!  It was really good and I liked it very much.

Well I went to Amazon to write this review and discovered that this is the first book to a series….oh no!  That’s why it was so cheap.  The $1.95 is just getting me primed to spend more money on the rest of the books of the series.  Well I already checked and my online library doesn’t have any books by him so UGH…I think I am going to have to burn a couple Audible credits and get the next books.

Here’s what Amazon had to say, “Tracy Crosswhite has spent twenty years questioning the facts surrounding her sister Sarah’s disappearance and the murder trial that followed. She doesn’t believe that Edmund House—a convicted rapist and the man condemned for Sarah’s murder—is the guilty party. Motivated by the opportunity to obtain real justice, Tracy became a homicide detective with the Seattle PD and dedicated her life to tracking down killers.

When Sarah’s remains are finally discovered near their hometown in the northern Cascade mountains of Washington State, Tracy is determined to get the answers she’s been seeking. As she searches for the real killer, she unearths dark, long-kept secrets that will forever change her relationship to her past—and open the door to deadly danger.

I really enjoyed the book and apparently Amazon readers did too.  They gave it 4.4 stars.  I’d agree…and with that, I’m off to get the next book.

First thing I always do is check to see if my library has audio versions of the books you review. I have a list of the available ones so when I’m in a hurry I can just go download one without spending time to search for one I think I’ll like. Thanks for doing the reviews.
