What I’m Reading: A Fall of Marigolds

I just finished up listening to the audio book A Fall of Marigolds by Susan Meissner.  Not long ago I told you about another book by the same author, Secrets of a Charmed Life which I really enjoyed.  When reading the reviews of that book I had seen that the author had wrote other books and was off to find one.

I landed on  A Fall of Marigolds and am very glad I did.

The book tells two mirrored stories that are linked by a scarf that is covered with marigolds.  The author tells both stories very well…so well that twice the book caught me with a tear or two in my eyes.  Both stories were interesting to me.   Clara’s told at the time of immigration and the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire and Taryn’s at the time of 9-11.

I really liked the book.  I am happy to say that Amazon readers did too.  They gave it 4.5 stars and I totally agree.  I would recommend the book.
