What I’m Making: Brooke Ervin’s Viral Cheese Bread

A couple of weeks ago, I saw THIS reel from Brooke Ervin on her viral cheese bread. In the video, she had a few packs of cheese that all only had a little bit left in them. I told myself then and there, on the day I had partial bags of shredded cheese, I was making this. That day came.

The bread is super easy to make. No kneading!! It’s just a dump and form recipe…plus there are only a few ingredients.

The recipe is kind of fun. The bread is formed on parchment paper. Then set to rise. While it is rising, I put the casserole pan in the oven. Once it was hot and the dough had risen, picked up the corners of the parchment and placed the loaf in the casserole dish with the cover on.

It went in the oven for 20 minutes with the lid on, and 5 minutes with no lid. One thing to note: the oven is set very hot at 450 degrees.

The bread was a huge hit. I will definitely be making it again. I had some the next day, and it was toast…YUM!!

This would be great served with any Italian meal like spaghetti or lasagna.

Rick told me it was a keeper recipe, so I’m keeping it. Again, THIS is the link to watch the video and see how to make it.

  1. Oh yummy!! I have a similar recipe except it has diced jalapeno peppers in it and slices of the pepper on top. These breads are so good and so easy to make. Thanks for sharing.
