I’m a HUGE blueberry fan. Â Back in April when I had to go through the low-iodine diet when I had to go through my thyroid testing I ate blueberries all the time. Â Even off the diet, I eat them often. Â When asked many people would pick cherry pie over blueberry pie….not me. Â I’m a blueberry girl. Â So when I see blueberry recipes I want to try them all.
Recently in my Facebook news feed I saw a recipe for Blueberry Lemon Cake. Â Here is a link to the recipe.
It was easy to make and quick.
It is a really pretty looking cake….my photography skills don’t do it justice at all.
Hubby and I both enjoyed it.  BUT….although the cake was good, I would rather use my blueberries to make this blueberry pie or this Zucchini Blueberry Cake. These two recipes are favorites of our family and I would rather eat either of these.
Baking is my hobby and I’m always looking for new ones to top the favorites and sometimes the old favorites are better. Â This was one of those times.
I’m with you on the blueberry pie. It is also my favorite over any other pie!
Blueberry pancakes are a favorite here, be it breakfast or supper.
