What I am working on…

Time is gradually ticking away at our house.  In six short weeks it will be time for my fourth kiddo to graduate from high school.  That means a whole host of things…getting invitations out for a graduation party, cleaning house, getting the yard cleaning up after winter and of coarse a graduation quilt.  I am suppose to be working on my mystery quilt #1 but I decided to bump that UFO project, and substitute in project #3, Karl’s Graduation Quilt.

ConnecttheDots
I got the  blocks sewn together, the back pieced and no it is loaded into the quilting machine.  Hopefully I’ll get enough time to finish it up over this next week.  It will be nice to have this project off my graduation to do list.  The quilt is a free pattern from Judy at Patchwork Times…Here’s a link for Connect the Dots.

To see what other are working on, head on over to Patchwork Times.

  1. Jo,
I made this quilt too, in a non-scrappy girly color scheme, I had to take a second look at yours! I really like it, and what fun to see it made up in a different way!

  2. I can’t keep up with Judy or Bonnie, but you seem to be doing it. Connect the Dots is in my bucket list. Your son should be happy to put this on his bed. Are there more graduation gifts to be made? April in FOUR days!

  3. Time does fly by doesn’t it. My son is graduating too – but in two months. No graduation parties here though. It was either a party or go to Spain with his Spanish class. Quess what he picked? Thank goodness! LOL

  4. I love your version of connect the dots – I would never have realized it was the same pattern! It’s amazing what a color change will do! Have fun a graduation – I know your kiddo will love it!
