Hello…today launches the start of the Villa Rosa Blog Hop!! We have new people coming to the blog and our old regulars. That’s for hanging out with me whether you are new or old. I am a busy blogger writing two new fresh blog posts each day…one in the morning and one in the evening. I laugh and say you can always wake up with me and you can always catch me before bed.
All of you regulars are probably wondering where the community quilts post is. No worries. That will be in the evening post this week.
Some of you who have been reading the blog have been anxious for this Blog Hop to happen. You’ve seen a sneak peek at the quilt I am working on for the blog hop and have wanted the pattern. I’m doing a little teaser again…you’ll have to wait until my day of the hop to see the full finished quilt.
I’ll be up front…it’s all quilted and I need to bind it yet. I’m hoping that will happen later today. You can catch my Instagram Stories to see if I actually get to it. You can find me on Instagram at @jo_joscountryjunction. I post a lot of day-to-day things there in my stories.
I dug into my Kaffe prints for this quilt!! It was so quick and easy to make I’m sure you’re going to be wanting to make one too.
The great news about the blog hop is that Villa Rosa is launching four other patterns besides the quilt I made…and you’re going to get a chance to hop around and see all of the patterns made up. Here they all are…
They are offering a special deal on the pattern set. You can buy all five for $8.95. The link to their site is HERE.

You’ll likely want to hop around to all of the places as there are some great giveaways.
Here is a list of the prizes…SO FUN!!
Each blogger will be giving away a set of the Blog Hop Patterns
Each blogger will select 2 people to go into the drawing for the 2 big prize boxes that are being given away with lots of awesome goodies from the blog hop sponsors which include books, precuts, notions, fat quarter bundles, and more.
Each blogger will select 3 more winners who will each be awarded some kind of fun prize — It might be a set of precuts, a bundle of fat quarters, a book, or other quilty goodies.
Some bloggers will be doing their own giveaways on their blogs at the same time.
The blog Hop welcomes international guests. If any international folks win, they will win a digital Blog Hop pattern set.
Entering is super easy. All you need to do is go to the blogs that are featured each day and leave a comment. How easy is that?? I would love it if you left a comment that said “Jo sent me!”
If you miss a day of the hop, it’s no big deal. You can always go back and catch up. Keep watch as when it’s my day, and I’m on the last day, I’m going to ask you to comment with your favorite quilt of the hop…
Just a heads up, on my day I’ll be giving away some extra goodies!!
It’s a snow day here in Iowa I am at. It’s the perfect time to hop around and get inspired.
Hi, I from just outside Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, love your blog. Marina
What a fun blog hop! Jo, I think you know I have followed you for a long time (selvage user quilter) Your blog is the best!
Will you post the shops each day in your post or will we need to come back to this one? Thanks, Becky
Probably come back to this one…I’ll see if I can remember to link them.
I have a special box for all my Villa Rose patterns. Just yesterday a friend texted me a picture of a quilt she was making and it was the the second time she had made it, a Villa Rose pattern I had given her. When I go into quilt stores while traveling, I often buy a pattern and then when I get home,I I already have it. So she gets the extras. This will be fun and I’ll certainly try to be a winner!
Villa Rosa has an app. You can make a list of the cards you want, and a list of the cards you already have. You can search by different features, such as half yard patterns, etc.
Jo, your Kaffe prints quilt looks like a pretty one. We look forward to seeing it next week.
Thanks, Jo, for participating in such a fun Hop! I’ve been following you for several years now and always look forward to your blogs each day.
Jo sent me.
This will be fun!
Have fun with the hop! Congrats on your own ‘almost finish’. :-)
Jo sent me
Jo sent me and I’m thrilled she did. Your cards are great and I din’t know which one I want first…..color cats, bohemia, April showers or several others. I signed up for your newsletter . Really looking forward to that. Thanks for doing this blog hop.
Jane
Oh, this will be so much fun. Thanks for sharing your talents with so many people. Can’t wait to se e what you did with the Kaffe Fassett prints.
Just a peek at the quilt is wonderful. That is a large list of blogs. Can’t wait
Ok… questions? What is a blig, what is a blog hop, i know who jo is , i watch her daily, but who are the others. Since I don’t have a clue about using a computer, I have no expectations for myself. I hope you all enjoy the publications daily.
If you click on the other blog hop participants, it will take you to their blog and you can see their finished quilt. It’s just a way to introduce you to new blogs and see the quilts from the patterns that others made to inspire you.
Loved those Villa Rosa patterns. Sadly I couldn’t buy them as the country box had options only for US and Canada. It seems we Aussies miss out- the tyranny of distance I suppose. Hope you all have fun on this ‘hop’.
Maggie
I like your blog, Jo. Thank you.
Hi Jo, I have a quilt planned using Kaffe fabrics that is very much like the pattern. Currently collecting fabrics!! Thank you for all you do!
Jo love your blog and u tubies . Sewing with distractions is just my style
Jo, thanks for sending so many my way! I’m thoroughly enjoying seeing all the “Jo sent me” comments! Looking forward to seeing your quilt in all that glorious color!
It’s so fun to read comments from new readers!!
