Waucoma Quilt Show

Sunday Kelli, Kayla and I went to the Quilt Show in Waucoma.  A local gal along with her mom’s help put it on as part of a 4-H project.

For our small little town population 250 or so, there were lots of quilts.

The first quilt was this wonderful embroidered snowman quilt.

There were lots of quilts and it was so fun to see them all.  Our little town has little to no cultural events so this was a real treat.  I hope they do it again next year.

Thanks for sharing! The young woman did a super job in organizing and putting on such a great quilt show. Your town has something to be very proud of.

Oh, I have one of those reversible quilts that I started in 1978 for my first born. It has never been finished. Ordered pattern from s mail order place from Texas if I remember correctly. Billed as easy. NOT!!! But then I was trying to make mine out of poly-cotton gingham. 100% cotton might have been easier. If you want the pattern, I can mail it to you.

Wow, those were really great quilts and from such a small populated area, too. I agree, the girl that organized it really did a great job and deserves a lot of compliments.

Hello, a friend told me to contact you about a sewing machine I inherited from a family friend a couple years ago! It is a Husqvarna Viking that is at least 50 years old…in excellent shape. I have pictures if this might be something you would be interested in, or could maybe direct me to someone who is. Thanks so much for your time.
